4.925 BTS in North Sumatera Suspected Illegal

Around 4.925 BTS in North Sumatera suspected illegal because do not have a permission and

recommendation so government create The governor's North Sumatran regulation No.2/2007

about sharing tower. In North Sumatera currently has around 6.000 BTS that is operated by 14

telecommunication companies. The data from the government of the North Sumatran province

mentioned the income that received by some of cellular operator from that province is not less than

2,7 billion per year. However the contribution for the regional government is not maximal and the

4.925 BTS Di Sumut Diduga Ilegal

Sekitar 4.925 BTS di Sumatera Utara diduga kuat illegal karena tidak ada izin dan rekomendasi

sehingga akan diterbitkan Peraturan Gubernur Sumut No.2/2007 tentang menara bersama

(sharing tower). Di Sumut saat ini berdiri sekitar 6.000 BTS yang dioperasikan sekitar 14

perusahaan operator telekomunikasi. Data Pemprov Sumut menyebutkan pendapatan yang

didapat sejumlah operator seluler dari provinsi itu sedikitnya Rp 2,7 trilliun per tahun. Namun

kontribusi untuk pemerintah daerah kurang maksimal dan penempatan BTS tidak sesuai dengan
