Indosat Cuts Tariff By 45%
PT Indosat Tbk cuts tariffs for its best selling phone service by 45% Thursday; to lure users as competition intensifies in the Southeast Asian nation. Indosat cut prices of its best-selling Mentari brand, where customer pay before using the service, as well as for clients who have a contract to pay monthly, the company said. Long distance calls made to a user of a different operator have been reduced to Rp 29 a second from Rp 53 a second. (JakartaPost-pg14)
