Indosat is Using an Alternative Energy for BTS
PT Indosat Tbk launched Indosat loves Indonesia Program that is marked by the commercial
launching of BTS test alternative energy and the launching of Indosat Wireless Innovation Contest
Program. This test is aimed to looking for the alternative energy for BTS other than BBM that is
used for now. On the other side, Indosat Wireless Innovation Contest Program (IWIC) which is at
this time is launched for the third year is different from two years before. IWIC 2008 is held in two

Indosat Gunakan Energi Alternatif Untuk BTS
PT Indosat Tbk meluncurkan program Indosat Cinta Indonesia yang ditandai dengan peluncuran
uji coba komersial BTS energi alternatif dan peluncuran kontes inovasi nasional. Uji coba ini
ditujukan untuk mencari alternatif bahan bakar bagi BTS di luar bahan bakar BBM yang selama ini
digunakan. Di sisi lain, Program Indosat Wireless Innovation Contest (IWIC) yang saat ini
diluncurkan untuk tahun ketiga berbeda dengan dua tahun sebelumnya. IWIC 2008 ini
